Typically when I am paying for my groceries, I will tell the checker that I started a non-profit, and their store has supported it--with thanks--but without mentioning the name of the organization. They always appreciate the positive feedback, and occasionally ask a question or two. Today, while paying at Fred Meyer, the gentleman who was checking my groceries was eager to know more.
